Also in this school year, our program of activities for schools of all levels
“Brum, brum! Let's start the engines!” it was a great success!
From November 2025 until June 2026, we welcomed approximately 800 students from 22 schools, 15 from the province of Lucca,
3 from outside the province, 2 foreign: 36 classes in total, 19 of which are secondary schools.
Each group was welcomed by at least one of the professors dedicated to teaching activities - Maria Luisa Beconcini, Elio Lutri, Ferdinando Passalia - assisted by experts in workshops for the little ones.
The visits were greatly appreciated, both by the children and the teachers who accompanied them.
This is an incentive to do more and always better!

June 19, 2026 – Three students from the “E. Majorana” Scientific High School in Capannori begin their FSL course at our Museum today.
May 23, 2026 – A collaboration agreement has been signed between our Foundation and the "E. Majorana" Scientific High School in Capannori (LU) for the activation of FSL courses for the current school year.
May 27, 2026 – Students from the 5th LB of the Vallisneri Scientific High School in Lucca came to visit the Museum.
May 8, 2026 – A group of 69 third-grade students from the IC "Rodari" middle school in Brandizzo (Turin) visited the Museum with their teachers. Maria Luisa Beconcini and Elio Lutri went out of their way to accompany them on a discovery of our two inventors and their engine.
April 21, 2026 – As part of an Erasmus program organized by the UST of Lucca, a group of students from the Musik Mittel Schule of Graz (Austria) came to visit the Museum.
April 17, 2026 – Students from the 3I year of the "Carducci" middle school in Lucca came to visit the Museum. The lecture by our cartoonist Bigo was well attended and appreciated.
April 16, 2026 – Seven children from the Lo scoiattolo nursery school in the historic center of Lucca came to visit: enthusiastic and happy, them and us!!!
April 16, 2026 – A total of 40 children from the Sardi Primary School in Vallebuia (Lucca) came to discover our Museum. Although it was their second visit of the morning, they were very interested and curious.
April 15, 2026 – 50 students from four classes at the Vespucci Colombo Institute in Livorno visited the Museum: in groups, they were entertained by Maria Luisa Beconcini and Elio Lutri.
April 14, 2026 – This morning, a group of 28 boys and girls from classes 3A and 3D of the Castelnuovo Garfagnana middle school came to visit us.
April 10, 2026 – This morning, another group of 24 students from the Majorana Linguistic and Scientific High School in Capannori came to visit us at the Museum, accompanied by teachers Bianchi and Trinchera.
April 3, 2026 – As part of the I-YEP (Improving Yacht Excellence Profiles) project , a group of students from the Lycée Maritime J. Faggianelli in Bastia, France, visited our Museum. It was a very positive experience for everyone!
March 27, 2026 – The program of activities with the third-grade classes at the Majorana Scientific High School in Capannori continues. Today, it was the turn of a group of 24 students from classes 3E and 3G.
March 26, 2026 – Today, the "Art Podcast" workshop was held for the 2H class at the G. Ungaretti Middle School in San Concordio, Lucca. It was an experience that undoubtedly thrilled the students.
March 24, 2026 – A group of students from classes 4CME, 5AMI, 2AMI of the IIS Chino Chini of Borgo San Lorenzo came to visit the Museum and discover the history of the invention of the internal combustion engine.
March 13, 2026 – Second visit by third-year students from Liceo Majorana in Capannori. Today it was the turn of the 3D team, which was accompanied by our own Elio Lutri and Ferdinando Passalia to discover the invention of the internal combustion engine and the key stages of its evolution.
March 9, 2026 – The 3S class from San Martino in Freddana Middle School visited the Museum and wrote a wonderful article for the newspaper La Nazione. Thank you for your appreciation!
March 9, 2026 – Class 2L of the G. Carducci middle school in Lucca visited the Museum and participated in the "Art Podcast" workshop organized by Polyedric Visions APS as part of the I Salotti delle Muse project, supported by the Museum System of the province of Lucca.
March 6, 2026 – 28 third-year students from the Majorana High School in Capannori visited our Museum. Together with their teachers, we retraced the steps of Barsanti and Matteucci's invention of the engine and explored the chemical and physical principles behind the internal combustion engine.
February 19, 2026 – The children of the S. Dorotea nursery school in Lucca learned the story of Barsanti and Matteucci and, guided by our Lucia Morelli, each created their own pop-up book of the Museum.
January 21, 2026 – A small group of children from the Lo scoiattolo nursery school in Lucca and their teachers came to visit the Museum: very interested and enthusiastic, even more than the adults!!!
January 13, 2026 – Students from class 4SB at the Vallisneri Scientific High School in Lucca came to visit the Museum. After explaining the story of the two inventors and their invention, Maria Luisa Beconcini and Ferdinando Passalia discussed the relationship between science and faith.
November 27, 2025 – Students from classes 3G and 3H at the G. Carducci Middle School in Lucca came to visit the Museum accompanied by their teachers. Among other things, they were entertained by the cartoonist Bigo, who revealed many secrets of the world of comics.
November 21, 2025 – Students from classes 5mecA and 5mecB at the ITIS Da Vinci in Pisa came to visit us. We spent over two very enjoyable hours with them and their teachers, Professors Vasarelli, Tarantino, and Zanobini, discussing engines, both historical and current.
